Exploring Single- and Multi-Agents
What Are LLM Agents?
Single Agent Vs. Multi-Agent Collaboration
The single Agent we explored has several issues: too many tools may complicate selection, context becomes too complex, and the task may require specialization.
Instead, we can look towards Multi-Agents, frameworks where multiple agents (each with access to tools, memory, and planning) are interacting with each other and their environments
What if the most game-optimal play in the new system is actually to become unapologetically you?
What is Jevon’s Paradox: from coal to cognitive labor
Measuring what matters
An individual’s choice in the Malthusian Trap
Some of the early strategies that seem promising:
Intentional constraints. Some of the most interesting creative work happening now involves deliberately limiting AI's role.
Open-sourcing ideas. Projects that focus on collective flourishing (network building) rather than individual optimization can partially escape the treadmill effect.
Redefining success entirely. The most radical approach involves changing the metrics completely. Perhaps meaning was never about output at all, but about connection, presence, and the quality of our experience.
The New Patterns of AI Interfaces
While platforms race to embed AI everywhere, startups are discovering that chat isn't enough. Users want AI to adapt to their workflows, not the other way around. Four patterns are emerging:
Chat++
Invisible Helpers
Hybrid Workspaces
Agent Control Centers
Until next time!
